Some good ideas on how to make a better life

pleasyreSo I found this list on another site I go to. I made it my own, but I got it from mindpowernews if you really want to know…it was that good.


1. Drink lots of water.

2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.

3. Eat more natural raw foods and less processed ones.

4. Empathy, energy, enthusiasm-all good practices

5. Pray, meditate…whatever you want to call it. Do more of it.

6. Play more.

7. Get away from the TV and read

9. Sleep for 7 hours.

10. Walk 10-30 minutes daily…while you walk, smile.


11. Never compare yourself to others. We are all different and have had different journeys.

12. Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

13. Know your limits but just stretch them a bit. Don’t set yourself up for failure.

14. Taking yourself too seriously takes the fun out of life.

15. You always have better things to do than gossip.

16. You can dream when you are awake, too.

17. A life of envy leads to life of regret.

18. Leave the past in the past, Bringing it to the future is not good for anyone,

19. Hate is a poison only felt by the one using it.

20. Make peace with your past so it doesn’t ruin the present.

21. You are in charge of your happiness. Period.

22. Life is a never ending lesson you must always be learning. To stop learning is to stop living.

23. Smiling and laughing is key.

24. Winning every argument is not necessary. We all have our different outlooks.


25. Keep in touch with your family.

26. Do good for other people every day.

28. Make time to spend with the very young and the very old.

29. Try to make yourself memorable to everyone you meet.

30. Don’t worry or fret what other people think of you.

31. At the end of the day your friends and family are more important than your job. Live your life that way.

33. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.

34. The healing power of love is astounding.

35. If you don’t like something, do not worry as nothing is permanent

36. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

37. Remember that life is rigged in your favor.

38. Be thankful for life every day you wake up in the morning. Do not take it for granted.

39. Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy.

  2. I love this! Making life simpler can sometimes be so easy but we tend to forget the small details. This is definitely a list we all should keep handy.

  3. You have some great tips here. I love making yourself memorable to the people you meet, that is awesome. Since I was a little kid learning history I always thought it was cool how I was learning about people that made such a difference in others lives and I knew I always wanted to make a difference. Great post, thanks for sharing!

  4. I love reading stuff like this.
    It can be almost overwhelming because I have the tendency to check with myself if I am doing all these great ideas. Then I start to wonder how I will be able to accomplish all of it. But that’s me. I have always been like this and I will probably never stop doing this. Because I want to get the most out of life when I live.

  5. Love, love, love these tips! Everyone who reads them should print them out and hang them where they can see them as a constant reminder.

    The one I’ve never read before, or even thought of, is about making yourself memorable to everyone you meet. Sometimes I think I make myself memorable, but not in the way the writer intended.

    I’m always interested in improving, and living as happy and fulfilled a life as I can. I’m sure hanging these tips where I can see them daily will help.

  7. Hey these are some great ideas, I try to eat pretty healthy by eating as much unprocessed food as possible like you mentioned. One thing I want to do more of but have yet to make it a habit is to practice your second idea, eating the biggest meal of the day for breakfast. I have read this really helps out.
